In Class Blog Assignment

Today's lesson revolved around photo shopped images. My favorite example was of the Dove: Evolution video, I've seen it many times before but the way that it was projected by a step by step through the whole process showed how they basically created a whole new person. I feel that the photo shopping of images are creating a negative mentality in some people because they try to aspire to be what they see in their magazines. In one of the videos we saw in class a photo editor made a comment regarding how problems often arise because the models cant even compare to their photos. This is a huge problem because even small children see stars and people they admire in magazines and strive to be like them and sometimes strive to be them. In this day and age where plastic surgery now makes this possible more and more people are getting plastic surgery to look like these people when they don't even look like the way they do in media
