Silver Eye Field Trip

The picture I chose by Martin Weber, was the picture with the father and his daughter. The pictures description says " Paje, want my daughter to study, to defend her rights", but the picture says something more. I interpreted it as a man struggling to protect his daughter in a society that is feel with turmoil. His expression on face seems tired, hopeless, and sad. It is as if these rights that he hopes for his daughter was stripped from him one day in his life. His daughter sleeps so peacefully on his lap, oblivious to life almost, its as if her life has been blissful.
To ask for something so unselfess, says alot about Paje's character. From the cloths that he is wearing, which really isn't much at all, it seems that he is very cultural, and patriotic. His daughter is also painted just like her father. This picture shows strength, and persreverence also. This is because the father sits so proudly. this the reason why i chose this picture.
