Welcome to the city of Boston skyline. This city is where my heart will forever be. I’ve always liked pictures of skylines a lot; especially Boston’s but this picture in particular caught my eye. It’s not made to look fancy or try to paint a pristine picture of the city but rather show it just how it is, sunny, a few clouds, and a slight haze surrounding the city.
In addition to the view itself this picture is actually taken from Boston Harbor in Southie (The South End) not to be confused with South Boston. This is odd because most of the views often depicted of Boston are in the opposite direction and are overlooking the harbor. Thus this isn’t the way the skyline is often seen, with the Prudential Building of to the far left.
